Christian Eiroa founder of CLE Cigar Company has been manufacturing some amazing smokes dating back to his early years as head of Camacho. The latest release from this famed cigarmaker is his brand new line called CLE PCA Exclusive: a brand that he first unveiled at the 2023 PCA Convention & Trade Show. As a smoker who enjoys cigars in different length and sizes, depending the time allotted to smoke them, I picked up both the )6 x 48) 11/18, and its fatter cousin, a (6 x 60) Gordo, simply called, 6 x 60. Both sticks were covered by silky smooth Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrappers covering binder and fillers from Eiroa ‘s new undisclosed plantation in South America. Lucky to find both of these limited edition premiums in singles at my favorite shop, both cigars burned great, were medium bodied, and delivered complex flavors of spiciness and sweetness, backed by tasty notes of cocoa, leather, and cream. After smoking these Connecticut wrapper Honduran gems right down to the nub, I ordered a box of both sizes before they are gone for good! If you love rich, Connecticut style cigars, or happen to be a CLE cigar fan, then these fantastic sticks are an absolute must try!
