New Wave Connecticut is that classic medium-bodied premium cigar we all need in our humidor. The E.P. Carrillo artisans handcrafted this beauty with Cuban-seed long-fillers from Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, and a flawless, golden Connecticut wrapper. The draw and burn were immaculate, as to be expected from EPC, but the flavor profile impressed me the most. It was the just the right blend of sweet and spicy for an everyday smoke, or a cigar I can relax with. There were toasty undertones of leather and nuts, and just the right balance of sweet, delicious cream on top-all peppered to perfection.
