A long time in the making, Powstanie Connecticut cigars bring a mellower Connecticut -style smoke to the highly popular Powstanie brand portfolio. This was accomplished by using an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Pennsylvania broadleaf binder and aged fillers from Nicaragua. Like the other Powstanie cigars in the portfolio, it is made at Fábrica de Tabacos Nica Sueño S.A. in Nicaragua, a prestigious factory that’s also home to the world famous RoMa Craft brand. From the first cigar up until the last stick in the box, I enjoyed a mellow-to medium bodied smoke with consistently delicious flavors of cedar, roasted nuts, leather, and subtle hints of spice. Overall, the Powstanie is an excellent cigar that combines distinctively great taste with flawless construction, great burn, and a nice effortless draw.
