Riata is a classic value priced premium cigar that very well constructed and slow burning. The dark Nicaraguan wrapper is a beauty to behold with plenty of oil and barely a visible seam. I would describe it as quite a powerful stick even though it is often referred to as medium bodied in strength. The cigar starts with a peppery kick that quickly yields to softer notes of leather, earth, and coffee. Riata remains a tremendous bargain in the stogie world, and will always remain my everyday smoke.
