I was looking for a new dark and oily cigar to add to my collection, and the Sancho Panza Double Maduro really fit the bill! The cigar is covered with a dark and oily Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Incredibly smooth for a medium-to-full-bodied smoke, this black beauty was loaded with tasty notes of dark chocolate, leather, nuts, and spice. It finishes with some sweetness, and the aroma is earthy and rich. Sancho Panza Double Maduro embodies all of the qualities I have come to expect from a super-premium handmade Honduran cigar, yet surprisingly it comes at a very affordable price.
