CAO Pilon Anejo

CAO Pilon Anejo Robusto cigars derive their extremely rich flavors and alluring aroma by using aged Nicaraguan binder and long fillers, covered by a seamless , Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. This second follow up to the original 90-rated CAO Pilon line once again uses the 19th century method of Pilon cured tobaccos. The name Pilón Anejo which roughly translates into "aged pile," is a technique that has been around since the 19th century to cure tobacco. This top notch Robusto clocks in with a medium-to-full bodied flavor profile of dark chocolate, earth, leather, and a spicy sweetness, that pairs wonderfully with a porterhouse steak and an ice cold frosty mug of my favorite dark Imperial Stout. Hats off to CAO for creating a delicious follow up to the original 90-rated Pilon cigars. Both of which have found a permanent home in my humidor.
