An initial release of just 6,000 cigars in 2015 and once named Snake Oil, now Crowned Heads Blood Medicine Limited Edition Toro, reemerged on the scene in 2022 as an exclusive event-only cigar. Not only did Crown Heads decide that the cigar was too good not share, the exceptional blend was garnering much inquiries and positive feedback. Since not enough people had access to experience and enjoy the cigar, they decidedly took the blend, revamped it to a 6 x 52 Vitola and made it available for international retail. This version unlike the previous was crafted in Nicaragua, handmade at Eradio Pichardo’s TacaNicsa factory. The toro is lush with a lively core of filler from Nicaragua tucked neatly beneath an Ecuadorian Connecticut binder is then expertly sheathed in a dark Ecuadorian Habano wrapper.
