Hambones

These cigars are a value priced line of premium cigars that are a reimagined version of an old American brand from the mid-1920s. The original cigars were called J.P. Alley’s Sweets 5¢ that had a picture image of an African American pilot, nicknamed “Hambone” smoking a cigar while flying over the ocean on every box. This was intended to be a satire on Charles Lindbergh’s 1927 solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. This rich Connecticut style cigar was rife with rich flavors of spice, leather, coffee, and plenty of caramel sweetness on the finish. Now produced with a less offensive, but still tacky pig smoking a cigar on the packaging, Hambones Connecticut Churchill is a seriously great tasting mellow to medium bodied smoke.
