La Gloria Cubana Serie S Robusto Gordo Maduro cigars were covered by a dark and oily , San Andres Maduro wrapper that added a rich chocolaty and peppery taste to a mix of spice, leather and dark roast coffee produced by the Nicaragua and Dominican fillers . The cigars are produced by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group and rolled at the famed El Credito factory in the Dominican Republic. Medium-to full bodied in strength, each draw on this 5.5 x 56 cigar became stronger as the smoke progressed. The last few puffs introduced notes of caramel and cream for a smooth and satisfying finish that had me reaching for another as soon as the nub was reached. This was a fantastic cigar truly worthy of the iconic La Gloria Cubana name.
