Rocky Patel Vintage 1999

When I saw that the Rocky Patel Vintage 1999 Short Gordo cigars were available in affordable 5-packs, I knew I had to order some, because it was the only Vintage Series cigar that I hadn’t smoked before. Each cigar in the pack contained five evenly colored sticks handsomely dressed in a stunning 8 -year-old golden-brown Connecticut shade wrapper that concealed a core of seven- years aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long fillers. This mellow smoke was brimming with buttery smooth notes of sweet cream, cocoa, baking spices, leather, and cedar. Many Rocky Patel cigar fans believe that his vintage series is arguably the best of the best, and now that I’ve smoked them all, I wholeheartedly agree!
