Warped Chinchalle
Robusto / 5 x 50
WRPCH5
While I am a huge fan of Warped Cigars and the work that brand owner Kyle Gellis has been doing, but I also love some good Dominican tobaccos, so when I heard that Warped Chinchalle handmade premium cigars were being made in the Dominican Republic I just had to check them out. Warped is famous for their use of Nicaraguan tobaccos, procured mainly from popular and expansive Aganorsa farms, so this blend is a big departure from their norm, but I think they knocked it out of the park! Available in a single 5x50 Robusto vitola, these treats are made with masterfully aged Dominican long fillers that are packed within a Dominican Havano binder and complete by a top-shelf Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper leaf. Chinchalle is Cuban slang meaning ‘very small factory’, the Warped Chinchalle is being made at the new Tabacalera La Isla, which opened in late 2020 and headed by Hostos Fernandez Quesada who is the nephew of the famous Manuel “Manolo” Quesada. These gems flood my palate with a rich medium-full bodied smoke that presents a complex medley of leather, roasted nuts, coffee, and sweet spice notes along with an overall creaminess that brings balance to the flavors. With the amazingly good flavors and top-notch construction, I will certainly be consistently getting boxes of these gems for my humidor in the future. But do not just take my word for it, see for yourself by ordering a box of Warped Chinchalle cigars online today at Cigars.com.
